Capuano getting hit with the puck is good luck.
Someone hit Capuano with a puck to guarantee a win. |

I agree Quine has fizzled but he still more effective then Bernier who brings absolutely nothing.
Ive never see a guy be ahead of play, get a pass and then not have another gear to make it to the net TWICE in one game.
Put Strome back in, Drop Quine in Bernier spot.
Does anyone have an update on any of our injured guys? any chance we get Lee or Grabo back this playoffs. |

Pretty sure Lee is done for the year and Grabo's career might be over |

I'm not sure Lee would make it back if we went 7 games in the Cup final. |

Grabovski should really consider just sitting out for the remainder of his contract so he doesn't damage himself further for the rest of his life after hockey. will still count against our cap but can be put on ltir and free up some dollars, but I can't see him retiring and leaving that money on the table. I'd be shocked to see him back this year |

It counts against the cap until you put him on LTIR and then its off the cap. So basically he is on the cap until the season starts then off it until the summer and then repeat one more year |

Trivial annoyance of the week
The draft lottery was held Saturday, with the winning teams unveiled in a made-for-TV special that featured representatives from all 14 teams. The actual drawing takes place behind the scenes. But for the second straight year, to the NHL's credit, it recorded everything and made it available online.
The whole thing is kind of a letdown, one that's more awkward than entertaining. The actual draw is over quickly, and then everyone has to stand around while two guys furiously try to look up the winning combination off of a printed table. Nobody's allowed to react, and then a visibly annoyed Gary Bettman (as if there's any other kind) thanks everyone and we're done.
It's not really necessary—any thought of the league rigging the lottery went out the window last year. But the league releases the footage, anyway, and it deserves credit for that.
But there's one especially weird moment in the video that I have to ask about, and it comes at the very beginning. The first thing we see is Bettman holding up that day's newspaper, as if this is some sort of proof-of-life hostage situation. This isn't new; Bettman did the same thing last year. |

Luckily you're allowed to be over the cap in the offseason as long as you're compliant on day 1 of the regular season. |

and in the summer we can go over the cap by 10% I believe, and just have to be under by the start of the season or preseason (can't remember)
will wait to see if we spend to the cap before I wonder if it'll be an issue...lol

I have no say in what other Oil fans think or propose.
My original trade was Hamonic, Nelson, and NYI 2016 1rst for Hall and Oil 2016 1rst. I still stand by this offer as being fair for both clubs, but I am sorely tempted to ask for Lee after Nelson's current playoff production. - Wildschwein
we are currently out of stock on Lee's, but can offer you a Bailey instead
